Dvaita Sampradaya: Path of Duality
Vedanta is very ancient and profound with meditative insights. It is derived from Vedas, Upanishads and other allied scriptures. The legendary streams of Vedic thought have touched human consciousness as Advaita, Vishishtadvaita and Dvaita by Sri Shankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya and Sri Madhvacharya respectively. In Dvaita philosophy, Man as Jeevatma and God as Paramatma are the two separate entities never to unite as one and the same. God, the Supreme Being is the one and only Independent Principle, Svatantra and all finite reality comprising of Prakruti, Purushas, Kala, Karma, Svabhava, etc. are dependent, Paratantra. This concept of two orders of reality is the keynote of the philosophy of Madhva.
